Job Description

Thank you for your interest in working with Engineering for Kids® Dallas Metro. Engineering for Kids® is an exciting program designed for building the next generation of Engineers! We have fun and exciting summer camps with various themes including 3D printing, Minecraft and Electronic Game Design with Dallas ISD and recreation centers in Denton and Wylie.

We are currently recruiting for Lead and Assistant instructors for our summer camps from the beginning of June to the end of August. Additionally, there is an opportunity to continue to be part of our team to teach after school programs starting in September 2017.

If you enjoy working with children in a technical hands-on environment, then this is the right opportunity for you! You must be a highly motivated self-starter and fast learner. Prior experience in education is recommended, but not required.


  • Responsible and dependable individual with great energy and a kid-friendly personality.
  • Confident and able to work independently in a classroom setting managing a group of children.
  • Must be available 8:00AM – Noon and 1:00PM to 4:00PM, Monday through Thursday
  • Must have transportation to/from job sites
  • Recommended but not required: prior experience in education

No prior STEM experience required. We will provide training on our curriculum.
